CloudWave to Acquire Sensato – Read More
CloudWave announced its plan to acquire Sensato Cybersecurity, a deal aimed at drawing together cloud hosting services and managed security-as-a-service capabilities. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Sensato’s founder John Gomez will join CloudWave as chief security and engineering officer. CloudWave, an independent cloud and managed-services software-hosting vendor, focuses solely on healthcare. It manages more than 250 hospital environments in the public cloud and the OpSus private cloud platform. The company’s cybersecurity tactical operations center (CTOC) has provided continuous monitoring by cybersecurity analysts and incorporates machine learning. The addition of the Sensato Cybersecurity suite further fortifies the OpSus Cloud Services platform, according to the announcement.
MANGOPAY to Acquire Nethone – Read More
Payments specialist Mangopay has acquired fraud protection company Nethone for an undisclosed amount. Poland-based Nethone, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2022, was founded in 2016 and raised $6.7 million in funding in July 2021. In a statement, Mangopay says Nethone will help it provide platforms with a complete solution for payment and fraud prevention. Earlier this year, private equity firm Advent International acquired a majority stake in Mangopay and said it would be investing €75 million in the business.

FARO Technologies, Inc.
