GrowthPoint Technology Partners, LLC, an investment bank that is headquartered in Silicon Valley, announced today that it has opened an office in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Mr. Adoram Gaash, who recently joined GrowthPoint as a Managing Director, will lead the Israeli practice as well as the new Tel Aviv office as part of a continuing strategy to provide local GrowthPoint offices in all the key technology centers around the world.
Mr. Gaash is a respected technologist and businessman with a long career working in, founding, and financing technology companies in Israel and the United States. Mr. Gaash managed a large sales operation for ECI Telecom, founded his own startup and sold it in the USA, and has been an investor and co-founder in several other technology startups. In the early 2000’s he co-founded a successful venture capital firm, StageOne Ventures, and owned an incubator in Tel Aviv, Labone Innovations, which created some of Israel’s most successful exit stories in recent years.
Mr. Gaash commented, “I have had personal experience working with several members of the GrowthPoint team for a few years while living in Silicon Valley and recently was one of their clients. I had been looking for an M&A organization to work with – one that would fit both with the needs of the Israeli technology market and my experience with technology innovation in Israel. The GrowthPoint team is filled with experienced, senior-level people who all have prior operational experience as engineers in technology companies and deal-making experience in strategic partnering and acquisitions. Like myself, the others at GrowthPoint love to create successful M&A transactions.”
