Menlo Park, CA — GrowthPoint is pleased to announce another successful transaction: the acquisition of their client ArcTouch, a leading full-service mobile design and development company, by WPP’s Grey Group.
ArcTouch’s team of designers and developers transforms ideas into app experiences for a wide range of connected “things” you hold in your hand, wear on your wrist, and use in your home and car. Its world-class clients include Fortune 500 companies, leading consumer brands, innovative startups, media and entertainment companies, and world-class marketing and design agencies. ArcTouch was founded in 2008 by serial entrepreneurs Eric N. Shapiro and Adam Fingerman, and is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Vancouver Canada, and Florianopolis Brazil.
“The sale to Grey was the result of a carefully driven process that led to numerous acquisition proposals from several top recognized media and technology companies,” said John Cromwell, GrowthPoint Managing Director. “WPP and Grey delivered the most compelling proposal to continue the substantial market traction with global brands that ArcTouch has developed.”
ArcTouch (arctouch.com) will continue to create connected experiences on mobile and smart devices for brands to engage with their customers, and become a free-standing unit of Grey’s Brand Experience Group.
“This is the 3rd successful transaction I have had with GrowthPoint,” said Shapiro, ArcTouch CEO. “Their entire team has always been, and continues to be, experts at what they do and great to work with.”
