Completion of all 12 seminars and appropriate assignments by one delegate will be regarded as a Growthpoint diploma in Personal Development.


The objective of the Habit Former Seminars is to develop one common philosophy of exceptional performance, for all employees, creating a work environment for like-minded exceptional people, counteracting the destructive influence of mediocre performance. 

These one day seminars, which will be especially developed to address the ongoing requirements of the team, can be presented to the entire staff as an ongoing, habit forming, follow-up programme. 

As habits are the key to human behaviour, it follows that the development of a series of success-orientated habits must be a key ingredient in the long term development of successful people.

Habits take no effort – once knowledge and principles are turned into habits, they become a natural part of the behaviour of the participating delegate. 

It takes between 21 to 30 days to develop a habit. 

A simple practical day-to-day fieldwork assignment has been developed to help the delegate turn the specific knowledge and principles into everyday working habits.

At the end of the 12 month cycle the delegate would have gone through 12 sets of specific knowledge and would have developed the principles for turning them into natural working habits.

HABIT FORMERS are a perfect supplement to existing corporate training, requiring only 12 out of 365 days for the development of the skills of success and achievement. As each workshop is an independent one day seminar and there is no specific order of importance, delegates joining the system will be able to participate for the following 12 months.

Although it is recommended that all 12 seminars are attended by the same individual for maximum personal growth, a company may send different people to gain the specific knowledge and principles they require.

These Habit Formers are designed for four main reasons:

  1. To maintain the exceptional performance program at all levels.

  2. To develop one new exceptional performance habit each month for all members of the team.

  3. To ensure and maintain the goal orientated focus of the entire team thus minimizing the burden on management.

  4. To make the knowledge, skills and techniques into habitual behaviour.

The ongoing evaluation of team members enables the development of specific workshops should they be required.
